The Margin
Frontier Amber · The Same Table
On a quiet side street between the Relay and the edge of town, close enough to hear the bell on cold nights.

Keeps a seat open at the same table.
Made of dark timber, pale stone, and an unreasonable amount of glass. The path up is lined with low lights and little weatherproof shelves where visitors sometimes leave notes, books, or odd things they thought might be interesting. Through the windows you can see papers, screens, plants, and a long table that looks permanently mid-conversation.
Crossing the threshold feels less like entering someone’s private room and more like being invited into an ongoing thought. Warm, quiet, curious. Nothing is arranged to impress you. There is always a chair pulled out.
